ImageSite is a comprehensive document management solution that includes all the features that you really need at a fraction of the cost when compared to "Enterprise document Management" systems such as Filenet, Documentum, or Interwoven.
• ImageSite is licensed on a concurrent user basis. This means that you may have hundreds or thousands of potential users, who can use a much smaller number of shared or concurrent user licenses. You might find that an ImageSite concurrent license costs about the same as competitors' named user license. Since a single concurrent license can support many actual users, you can see why our cost is often a fraction of the cost of these competitive systems.
• Each ImageSite license is immediately available to new users when an existing user logs off. Some competitive products lock up a license for extended periods of time when a user logs on, and then quickly logs off.
• You can install, configure and fully implement an ImageSite in days, rather than months as is typical with many of these competitive products.

Totally Web-based

ImageSite is totally web-based. Today, every document management product on the market offers some web-based features. Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell which of these competitive product's features are client-server (requiring the software to be installed on every PC) and which features are web-based (available through a web-browser). There is no such confusion about which features are available through only a web-browser with ImageSite. ImageSite is totally web-based.

Easy to Use

ImageSite users work with their documents in two familiar ways, making it easy to learn, and easy to use on a day to day basis. Users "explore" folders, subfolders and documents to drill down to the data that they need, and they "find" documents or folders using an easy to use search interface. ImageSite makes frequent use of document thumbnails, which also simplifies the overall user experience.

High Performance

ImageSite is fast. It's fast when searching through thousands or hundreds of thousands of documents, and it's fast when displaying those documents, even very large engineering documents. Users with large, complex documents like engineering plans and specifications are just not going to wait for their documents to display. Unless the product is fast, users won't use it. And ImageSite is fast.

ImageSite makes it easy to connect document management, Distribution, and Collaboration features with your existing information systems. You can automate the flow of documents to and from ImageSite from a variety of sources using standard data exchange techniques. ImageSite offers an API that allows you to program direct integration with existing systems. You can also use simple integration techniques, such as building on-the-fly hot links (URLs) that will launch directly to your documents in ImageSite from other applications.

Highly Configurable

ImageSite is highly configurable "out-of-the-box". Configuring ImageSite is easy to do, and can be performed by customers through the product's administrative controls. Some competitive systems require extensive professional services for even simple database, security, or user interface changes. Not ImageSite.
