Full Text Search

The ImageSite Full Text Search (FTS) module allows document searches to be performed based on the content in documents, including AutoCAD, Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, and ASCII files. Search for words within your documents, much like a web search engine searches for web sites by searching for words on the web pages.

AutoCAD Title Block Integration

ImageSite search attributes link dynamically with AutoCAD title block information, enabling automatic updats of index data when AutoCAD files are uploaded (checked-in).

CAD Reference File Support

ImageSite supports dynamic reference file support, including automatic reference file detection, upload, and storage with dynamic reference file links. As CAD files are checked out, revised, and checked back into ImageSite, their changes are automatically reflected in all other CAD files that use them as a reference.

Automatic Revision Detection

ImageSite automatically recognizes new versions of existing, checked-out documents as they are checked back into the system. Existing documents are automatically archived and linked to the most current document.

Extensive Markups

ImageSite includes an extensive (web-based) markup tool set, allowing users to perform free-hand and precision drawing of lines, circles, squares, ovals and other shapes. Markup graphics never alter the original documents. ImageSite Ex version allows pre-defined markup graphics to be stored for reuse as standard symbols. Markup graphic symbols can be automatically generated from existing symbol libraries from other CAD systems.

High Performance, Integrated Viewer

ImageSite EX offers an integrated viewer with extremely high performance to enable Viewing, Markup and Collaboration Features for a wide variety of business and engineering document types.

The ImageSite CAD display enables selective layer and reference file display control for AutoCAD and MicroStation files with no additional 3rd party viewing software required.

Workflow

ImageSite Workflow automatically routes tasks needing to be performed (typically with links to ImageSite stored documents) from one user to another according to a pre-defined workflow process, and based on a predefined schedule. Tasks assigned to specific users display in their inbox, so users know exactly what they need to do. E-mail notifications help focus users on work that is pending and warn users when workflow tasks are behind schedule.

Real-time Collaboration

Multiple users can view, discuss, and markup document directly on ImageSite from a web browser at the same time. Real time conferencing uses the same set of markup tools and allows one user to se another’s markup activities in real time while in conference mode. No additional (3rd Party) software is required.

Event Notifications

Event monitors let you "subscribe" to wide variety of ImageSite events, and ImageSite will email you when they happen.

This is a great way to receive automatic notifications of revisions to documents, markups, or confirm receipt of documents you are transmitting to others.

Revision History

ImageSite stores a complete historical record of documents as they change over time, including any markups that were created during the revision process.

Allows authorized users to conveniently find and reuse prior versions of documents.
Allows errors in new revisions to be corrected by backing up to a previous version.
Maintains a complete record of collaboration activities that led to document changes.

Configurable User Interface

ImageSite’s User Interface is easily configured with only the appropriate product features enabled for specific individuals or groups such as customers or vendors. Each user's customized interface streams dynamically when they log into ImageSite and eliminates commands that they don't need.

Integrated Batch Printing

ImageSite's OutBasket acts like a "shopping cart" in commercial websites and enables convenient, direct submission of drawings for batch printing with just a few mouse clicks. Enables direct plotting of documents, including CAD files from the ImageSite server to virtually any wide-format printing device on your world-wide network (including wide format devices from Xerox, KIP, OCE, HP, and others).

Batch Printing

ImageSite includes a powerful batch printing sub-system that enables a handful or hundreds of files to be submitted for printing to virtually any world-wide networked printing device without having to individually download and print each file. In the same manner, files can be submitted for PDF creation, taking multiple files and creating PDFs automatically, even emailing them to distribution lists.

Saved Sets

Collect ImageSite documents in the OutBasket and store them as a set. Sets can include any type of document, stored in different folders, with unique attributes, and can be electronically assembled together for convenient re-use. Document sets can be reprinted by authorized users or electronically distributed with the click of a mouse.

Conditional Watermarks

ImageSite's conditional watermark engine enables automatic dynamic generation of watermarks at print time based on system-defined settings including Document Attribute values, Digital Signatures, Document Check-out Status, Document Versions, and any user defined Custom Attribute.

Automatic Transmittal Generation

The ImageSite OutBasket acts like a "shopping cart" in a commercial website, allowing users to select multiple files for distribution. ImageSite generates a transmittal form which lists the documents being transmitted, details about each file in the package, and information about users who are to receive the transmittal information.

Multiple Distribution Options

ImageSite enables paper print distribution, email distribution, or electronic distribution by posting the files to distribution projects or folders. As files are electronically posted, ImageSite can automatically notify recipients users (through lightweight emails) that their files are ready.

Electronic Distribution

Avoid clogging up your network with large email attachments. Use ImageSite to electronically distribute documents without actually sending the document anywhere. Instead, send lightweight email messages with URL links that automatically drive user to the documents you want them to have.
