Engineering Batch Printing

If you're in a high production CAD environment, you need the time and money-savings features that Plot Station® offers!

Plot Station® lets you offload CAD plot processing from individual CAD workstations and centralize batch plotting activities on the network with a dedicated plot server. Plot Station® is an open systems batch plotting solution, supporting more printers, plotters, networks, and large format engineering document inputs than any other product. This makes Plot Station® an ideal choice in a mixed CAD and mixed plotter environment.

Save Time & Money

  • Offload plot processing from CAD workstations and centralize it on the network for an efficient client/server plotting solution.
  • Ideal for mixed CAD environments--same user interface no matter what file formats you plot!
  • Plot the same image to multiple devices, including re-sizing plots, optimizing paper usage, adjusting line weights and more
  • Create a set of drawings; reprint any time during the project with just a mouse click.
  • Monitor Plot Station® queues and pause, resume, or delete jobs if necessary (ideal in rush job situations or to redirect traffic if a printer or plotter is down)
  • Track accounting data
  • Apply project plotting standards through plot-time re-symbolization
  • Completely consistent with CAD package outputs, including MicroStation, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and many more!

An Integrated Digital Print Archive

Plot Station® offers a fully automated digital print archival solution. Users can submit paper plots to print devices while electronic plots are automatically submitted to ImageSite Archive at the same time. This provides an extremely convenient way to digitally archive engineering plans, or electronically distribute those plans for viewing, markup, and collaboration.

Since ImageSite Archive is completely web-based, any authorized user can have secure access to archived documents through only a Web browser, whether they are internal employees or external suppliers, subcontractors or partners. While Plot Station® automatically submits digital plot files to ImageSite Archive, it can also be used to directly store, manage and collaborate with virtually any type of document or file.

View & Control Plots In Progress

Get remote viewing and control of plots in progress--from any Windows computer on the network. CAD or network administrators have access to all plots and control of the plotting environment so they can redirect plotting traffic should a plotter go down or load balance between available plotters.

Take Advantage Of Advanced Printer & Plotter Features

Maximize your hardware investment! Take advantage of your plotter's advanced features such as collated sets, stackers, folders, media selection, and more!

Capture Print Cost Information

Keep your budget under control by ensuring that you bill for all reimbursable expenses with Plot Station®'s DataTracker. Plot Station® automatically logs information on plotting activity. You decide which data to record for plot jobs. The log creates a Microsoft Access compatible database for easy review and use of the collected data. Or, you can send the data to a spreadsheet.
