eQuorum Announces Bentley ProjectWise Connector

ProjectWise Connector Software Provides Direct Plotting Through eQuorum's Plot Station® From ProjectWise®

ATLANTA, GEORGIA - February 10, 2003 - eQuorum Corporation announces the release of its Bentley ProjectWise Connector software that offers users of eQuorum's Plot Station software seamless integration for direct plotting through Bentley's ProjectWise software. This integration lets users take advantage of each product's key benefits—Bentley's ProjectWise for engineering content management and eQuorum's Plot Station for high volume production plotting with consistent, quality output.

With the ProjectWise Connector, the plot file submittal process is easy and convenient since users can work directly from the ProjectWise environment to submit plot files to Plot Station. ProjectWise users can submit individual or multiple files including different file types such as DWG, PDF, PostScript, HPGL, and raster, directly to Plot Station. Once the files are in Plot Station, users have access to all the features and controls they are familiar with such as the ability to organize drawings and plot collated sets.

Another feature of the ProjectWise Connector lets users manage their Plot Station plot request files (PRFs), pen tables and metafiles directly within ProjectWise along with their CAD files. The ProjectWise Connector maintains the relationship between the CAD files and the corresponding PRFs to ensure accurate, consistent output. When files are submitted from ProjectWise to Plot Station for plotting, the ProjectWise Connector gathers and submits all associated files such as reference files or raster attachments or metafiles. This ensures that all necessary files are submitted for correct output.

The ProjectWise Connector can be installed by the user without any need for custom programming services.
