What's New in Plot Station®

Plot Station version 8.7.02 is packed full of new features as well as many enhancements. Here are just a few of them.

Support for new input drivers:
Autodesk Inventor & Microsoft Office

Support for the new ProjectWise Connector

This is a biggie! Plot Station 8.7.02 supports our new ProjectWise Connector. If you use Bentley's ProjectWise as well as Plot Station, the new ProjectWise Connector lets you get the best of both products.

New administrator controls in Plot Manager Client Configuration

Help ensure accurate plots. Administrators can define which pen tables users may access. Also, they can configure which DGN elements to include for plotting.

Enhancements to the Xerox 8825, 8830, 8850 & 8855 output drivers

The Plot Station output drivers for the Xerox 8825, 8830, 8850 and 8855 plotters with the AccXES controller now support plotting with the advanced accounting feature enabled.

New Pen Table variables for even easier plotting

PRF_TEXT1, 2, 3 (AutoCAD and MicroStation): These read-only variables can be used to access /PRF_TEXT# data found in MicroStation PRFs or /TEXT# data found in AutoCAD PRFs. They can be used to insert or modify data in text fields within a drawing.

RASTER_LOG (AutoCAD and MicroStation): This read-only variable contains the logical name of the current raster file.

MS_NAME_LEVEL (MicroStation only): This read-only, automatically-updated variable contains the Level name field of the current element.

AC_NAME_LAYER (AutoCAD only): This read-only, automatically-updated variable contains the Layer name field of the current entity.
